Friends
Once upon a time, I had friends with web-pages. This apparently is a thing of the past.
What follows is what little I have in the way of links to friends and associates.
If I'm missing you for some reason, or you have a better place to look, let me know,
and some year I'll get around to adding or correcting it... after all, it's been about
3 years since my last update....
Angelica and Mark Vance I've not had the pleasure of meeting Mark's new wife, Angelica... they got married while I was deployed. Someday, this will have to be remedied. Anyway, Mark was a good friend of mine at VT and even took my place once I moved out of my apartment and off to Leesburg after Graduation. Last I heard, this Mechanical Engineer was working for the Norfolk Navy Yard, doing work supporting the USN.
kjs sapphire Another VT Alum. Started about the same time I did... still there (or back again?) I believe.
aloester or autmlo akaAndrea Oester, the best thing that ever happened to me.
Grounded Traveler is a site run by my good friend Andy Couch. He doesn't fly, so he travels by staying on the surface. We went to Virginia Tech together (shared several Engineering classes). When I arrived in Germany in 2004, he was studying at Universität Freiburg, at Freiburg im Briesgau - about 2 hours south of where I live in Mannheim. Some of his travels were inspired by pictures or drawings of places my family had been in our time here in the 70s and 80s. Without planning it, we keep visiting many of the same places. Well worth the visit to his site.
